Through focus groups I explored my topic.

Through a large scale survey, using Lime Survey, I obtained quantitative data on student migration aspirations as there was very little data.
Interviews
Through follow up interviews with selected survey participants, the topic was also covered from a personal point of view and I could tease out some ideal types and compare their stories.
